Video Scholarships

Are you an aspiring director or YouTube star? Or are you just generally interested in the arts and multimedia?

Well, it's your lucky day!

We're providing one lucky person the possibility to win up to $5000. That's right we're launching a video scholarship that will allow you to get $1000 for every year you attend university for up to 5 years.

Entering couldn't be easier, and you'll only need your creativity and imagination.

Eligibility

We will accept videos from current high school, college, or university students from any country. The winners will be required to send us proof of their academic status or enrollment.

How to Apply

1. Use Motionbox to create a 2-minute video with the theme "The World of Video". It can be funny, scary, in-depth, abstract, or anything else you can think of. See some ideas below but feel free to get creative!

• Videos from different countries
• Showcase videography through the years.
• etc

2. Upload it to YouTube (can be private or public)

3. Send us the link to scholarship@motionbox.io with your name, the name of your school/ university, your education level, and any other information you'd like to include

Choosing the Winner

Motionbox will initially choose 10 finalists. Each finalist will receive a free lifetime account to Motionbox.io.

The finalist's videos will be uploaded to our YouTube channel and the one with the most likes by the end of the period will be awarded as the winner.

Additional Chance for Financial Aid

Since Motionbox is constantly developing and growing we know that we have plenty of bugs but also plenty of feature possibilities. Send us a bug or feature you'd like to see and we'll raffle out 5*$50 amongst those who do.

Rules and Conditions

1. Should StoryCreator Inc become financially unstable and be unable to meet it's financial obligation, all creative rights will be transferred back to the original creator.
2. Videos must be in English or use English subtitles
3. Applicants must be currently enrolled in either a high school, undergraduate school, graduate school, or university.
4. There is no age or citizenship requirement.
5. YouTube links must be sent via email only, to this address: scholarship@motionbox.io. Any other method of application will be ignored.
6. To be valid, the application email must include the following information:

• Your name
• The name, address, and contact details of your school
• Your current grade level

1. One entry per student. Multiple entries per student will be disregarded.
2. Essays must be submitted online by Sept 30, 2021, no later than 11:59 p.m., Pacific Time (U.S.).
3. Video likes will be counted on October 31, 2021 at 11:59pm PST.
4. The winner will be announced by the end of September 2021. The prize will be awarded by international wire transfer. The winner will be required to provide his/her bank information in order to complete the bank transfer.
5. The winner must submit a valid ID and proof of enrollment in a high school, undergraduate school, or university.
6. Employees of Motionbox.io and their immediate family members are not eligible for this contest.
7. All entries become the property of Motionbox. The contest winner agrees to allow Motionbox to use the video in any way they see fit which does not violate any moral or legal codes.
8. Winners will be solely responsible for any taxes.
9. The prize is listed and paid in United States dollars (USD).
10. The decision of Motionbox in respect of any dispute arising out of this program shall be final.
