Grab the URL of the YouTube video you want. Then you can click the plus icon in the icon tray to the left of the play button. Paste in the URL and trim.
Trim the YouTube video, you can also edit it with effects and combine it with other videos/elements. To add text simply press t on the keyboard and a text element will be place at the playhead.
Press t on the keyboard to add text to the timeline. You can also select text in the sidebar.
