How to convert video to text

Upload Video

Simply drag and drop your video anywhere in the editor. It will use a local copy of the video file until it's fully uploaded. Depending on the file size and internet connection this can take a moment, be patient.

Convert From Video to Text

Once your video is fully uploaded you will be able to transcribe it in the cloud using our AI. Click on the clip and look to the button on the right side in the toolbar labeled automatically subtitle.

Select Text & Download

Once it's finished transcribing the text will overlay the video, you can style it and burn it into the video for captions or you can download the text by clicking edit subtitles and downloading the .srt file!
